SleepLoop ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy while helping you master your recovery. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use our mobile application and website.

1. Data Ownership

Your sleep data belongs to you. SleepLoop is designed to provide you with insights into your recovery, and we treat your health information with extreme care. Your data is primarily stored on your device and synced to our secure cloud servers only to provide cross-device synchronization and backup features.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Sleep and Recovery Logs

We collect and store your sleep windows (start and end times), subjective recovery ratings, and sleep notes. This data is essential for calculating your Sleep Score, maintaining your Streaks, and providing performance insights.

2.2 Account & Profile Data

If you create an account, we store your email address, name (if provided), and basic profile preferences via Supabase to enable cloud backup and multi-device sync.

2.3 Subscription & Entitlement Data

We use Superwall to manage premium features and entitlements. While payments are processed securely by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, Superwall and SleepLoop track your subscription status to unlock your Pro features.

2.4 Advertising & Device Identifiers

For users on the free version of SleepLoop, our advertising partners (Google AdMob) collect your Advertising ID (AD_ID) and approximate location to serve relevant advertisements, prevent fraud, and measure ad performance.

3. How Your Data Is Used

  • Performance Intelligence: To calculate consistency, stability, and timing metrics based on your sleep behavior.
  • Gamification: To manage your XP, biological ranks, and streaks within the app ecosystem.
  • Personalized Communication: To send smart notifications for wind-down times and circadian check-ins.
  • Security & Optimization: To monitor app performance, fix crashes, and prevent fraudulent activity.

We partner with selected services to provide essential functionality:

5. Data Deletion & Your Rights

You have the absolute right to control and delete your data:

In-App Deletion:

Navigate to Settings > Danger Zone > Delete Account. This will immediately purge your logs and profile from our active database.

Web Deletion Request:

You can request account deletion via our Deletion Portal which allows you to sign in and authorize the permanent removal of your records.

6. Children's Privacy

SleepLoop is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take immediate steps to delete it.
